    HI,
I just want to clarify whether I need to install Oracle client if I need to Connect Oracle database residing on a different machine.

or can I configure directly using System DSn by giving the Username, Server Name details and create a DSn for that and use it to connect Oracle database

    ex:

    Data Source Name : test

    Description : Test

    Username : PIl

    Server :?

    (Server Details : Server : BSSserver3, Port : 1521 Service Name : PIL)

How do I put this in the Server Column?

    Any Suggestions please?

I think you do need Oracle client installed and configured.
