Does anyone know how to use dbms_repair and event 10231 to extract data from a table whose data is in two datafiles and one day one datafile is missing and you only want to recover the data in the remaining datafile?

event 10231
I used this event to export data and skip rows of corrupted blocks, I don't know if this will help in your case.
Anyway here's the way to use it:
you put the line
event="10231 trace name context forever, level 10"
in you init.ora and restart for the effect to take place
and then try the export.

doesnt work, tried at session and instance level, it skips corrupted blocks only? or any blocks Oracle cannot read? in this case it's not just the corrupted blocks only ...
