Happy new year to all of you !!

I am using spotlight to monitor database performance.
It keeps issuing warning messages for lgwr-avg redo write time is 70...going sometimes upto 400ms, my redo logs are quite big 14 groups of 50M each, also the log buffer was increased to 1.7M but no significant improvement.

Database is running on archivelog mode.
One member of all redolog groups are on the same device. will my moving alternate groups to another location help, in case the archive process is slowing the redo writer process down.

    Please advise.

    Thanx
    KN
