I have problems when I install the oracle repository,
the package Bodies it installs have a lot of errors. CDAPI,
JR_ACC_RIGHTS, and several views ... I fixed these errors.
And then, after I fixed the errors, I edited the version. The
message says "operation complete", but below it's written "non-versionable" .... so, I can't create a workarea,
the repository object doesn't allow me to do it. Is it normal
the problems with the objects compiling? I got Oracle Designer 6i and Repository 6i on the oracle website. Oh, I'm using 9i Database Personal Edition......
please, someone help me I'm lost ....
Fernando.

Thank you for your answer. I created the repository into
a new user, an older user, and so on... I always have the
same problems. But the problems are very stupid, the
parameters for the procedures created in the packages are
different in their bodies. It`s strange, I installed it from the
Designer6i downloaded from the oracle website.
I gotta try reinstall it. Thank you.

Hi,
I also faced similar problems while creating Oracle Repository with lower versions of Oracle Designer. But with the downloaded version it worked well.

If you are using the Repository Admin Utility, be sure to look at the area that checks the privileges of the repository owner.
You can see checks for an "okay" or an x where you need to grant the privileges. If the grants are not given the installation will have errors.
Good luck.

I have granted more privileges than I should have. Everything was okay. I used Oracle Personal9i with Designer6i.
Thanks anyway ... I gotta try again.
