HELP ME Reg. OCP

Hi all,

I am having over all 3 years of Exp in Oracle 7.x,8.8i, I like to complete OCP DBA exam(now i am not working as a DBA) within next 6 months time, so u guys Pl. give me some helpfull tips, where to get materials and what kind of stuff. And also your valuble exprience and the huddles faced during u r preparation.

In my opinion you should buy the Oracle Press DBA Certification Guide:

Download the 8i software from:

http://technet.oracle.com/software/p...i/content.html

Install it on your machine and work through everything mentioned in the book.

There aren't any shortcuts. If you've got lots of on-the-job experience you will need less revision. If you've got none you will need more.

The book has (enough) sample questions. If you also have the Oracle ILTs, you will be fine.

You get the ILTs when you attend the corresponding course at Oracle University.

Sample questions you get (for example) if you buy Couchman's sample questions books (8 and 8i are available).

There are also free Internet sites with questions. Make a search in this Forum, I once posted the sites I did use.
