Hi all!
Wotking on Oracle v8i 8.1.6.0.0 with OS as NT.
Query:
1.WE are still into the development stage and have not used any kind of indexes as of now!
All we have are the indexes from the creation of Primary Constraints which creates implicit idexes on the primary keys!
Could you please let me know as to when and at what stage
should we be needing the indexes for our DB!
2.Is there any similar dynamic Performance view like USER_CONS_COLUMNS where we could know the which Foreign Key constraints column_names of which Table_names refers
the Primary Key constraints column_names of Table say X.
Thanks & Regards,
Amit.

When you notice that the SQL queries are slow :-)

for your query #2, I don't think that you have any table/view is there in the oracle dictionary .
you have to write a query using self joint with the the table User_Cosntraints.
