Thread: replication for websites, how do i do it?

    hi,

    we have a local oracle serverl ocated in our office, our oracle-backed web site is on another location, the inventory and the web orders needs to be transferred to our locl oracle db, we want to take adantage of oracle's replication feature. what's the best way to do it? can someone point me to the right direction? thanks.

    Replication is huge, how about reading some documentations first then ask your doubts?

    I agree with Pando, it is a big issue and you should consider your requirements carefully first but, if you just need a couple of tables replicated from your production site you can quite easily do this using Materialized Views (Snapshots).
