Thread: How to create a new database in Linux

    Hi

    I may need to create a new database in Linux . In NT we can create a new database using 'ORADIM'. Do we have similar utility in Linux for it? (I cannot use DBCA right now).

    No,

    In Unix, you need only to create the database with the create command, and configure your listener.ora file. That's all.

    If you want you have too dbassist utility.
