    Hi,

    I check my alert file and found following error. On talking to my clleaues I found that some error occured in database and it was shutdown and again brought online. (I was on leave).

    Foll is the SID ALERT log.

    I also found that this kind of error had occured earlier also in Sept and July.

    What should I do. Any precaution to be taken .

    Looks like a hardware problem involving I/O.
    Get a hardware expert.
