HI GUYS,
Generally our database was switching logs like every 3-4 hours we had 5 log groups 50 m each.
so I decided to reduce the log size and make it 20m instead,
Now yesterday due to import running and users also runnig tranac. the log started switching every 1 minute and today morning i had 1 or 2 checkpoint not complete errors in my alert log. then we saw warning:aiowait timed out 2 times
errors in alert log.
And when trying to connect got ora-27062 error
Now oracle support asked us to increase the redo logs, rollback segment and monitor.
i increased the log buffers to 675kb, log file sizes to 50 m(7 groups) but still my monitoring tool shows me high
redo log write time.
what could be the cause? could it be a hardware issue?
Please advise.

guys do you think
setting disk_async_io to true may cause slow redo writes.
As I am seeing a lot of waits for direct path write and
log file sync
PLease help
