Thread: Impact of Character set change- Urgent Help Needed

    We have a java application with Oracle 8i as the database. The default character set is US7ASCII. We want to change it to
    WE8ISO8859P15. What will be the impact of this on the existing data and what changes will have to be done in the application server, application code and the data in the database.

    No changes is required as far as the data is concerned. You might have to configure the application server to recognize this character set.
