    Hi all,
How do you check for frequently updated tables.

    Thanks in advance

    Hi,

I am also looking for some script which shows activities in all tables/objects in a specific time frame.

Example: Betw 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM, which are the tables in which DML (Inserts/updates/Deletes) have been made. Also if possible, in terms of number of blocks/extents increased.

    Thanks,

    Sam

You can set auditing to track updates or write a trigger that will track select activities. You can even set it to track only during specific time frames.

If you want to see data growth over time, you can save table stats from DBA_TABLES to a separate table at beginning of time frame. At end of time frame, analyze tables and compare stats.

LogMiner can help you in this regard.

Good part of LogMiner is, once you create the dictionary of your databse, all the analysis can be done on a different database, different server - independant of the production server.

Is there any script still to check block level changes in the table?

    Thanks,

    Sam
