    Unhappy

    Hi
I have passed 3 OCP papers for Oracle 8.

My question is , are those papers score will be invalid after 31st Dec'2001?

I passed first paper sometime in May'2001. Till this time i was thinking that i have to pass all the papers before May'2002. But now since Oracle 8 OCP track is retiring in March '2002 , so i my tube light turned ON.

    Please advise.

    Thanks And Regards

    Don't worry!

Your exams are still valid. But since Oracle 8 exams are retiring in March, you will not be able to write Oracle 8 exams after March. If you complete all teh exams for Oracle 8 prior to march you will become an OCP.

    Good luck

    Hi Leo,

    Thanks for quick reply.

So by Mar'2002 i have to complete my rest of 2 papers. That 's nice.

I can give Oracle 8 i upgrade exam after that , correct ?

And do you know any site which says about validity of exams ?

    Regards

    OTN

There is a lot of info on OTN (otn.oracle.com)

The answers to you questions are at http://www.oracle.com/education/cert...ocptracks.html

You can upgrade to 8i as long as the exam is still available.

8i is not going to retire until the end of 2002 at least. I think.
