    I m new here.

    Current installation is as below :

    ORA_DBA group created also

    ORA_SID_DBA & ORA_SID_OPER groups are created.


    ORA_DBA has 1 user : user A

    ORA_SID_DBA has 3 users : user A,B, C

    ORA_SID_OPER has 2 users : user A,B, C

    User A : admn for system
    User B : admn fo Domain in which my server lies
    User C : SAPServiceSID

    Also i hv password file created.

    REMOTE_OS_AUTHENT=true

    Also here I am having Oracle Failsafe on MS Cluster

    Now how to work for changing passwords.....

    You want OS authentication, right? Set SQLNET.AUTHENTICATION_SERVICES= (NONE) in sqlnet.ora and OS_AUTHENT_PREFIX = "" in init.ora Then users will not be asked for password within Oracle. Whose password do you wanna change? Were your users created with IDENTIFIED EXTERNALLY?
