11i Backup Scripts and Procedures

Hi All
I am creating a new 11i instance and I am looking for some procedures and scripts for backing up both the Apps Server and the DB Server.

The apps server is just a bunch of files that needs to get backed up regularly. Your sysadmin can just add this to the regular OS backups.

The apps database is just like any other Oracle database. Personally, I prefer a hot backup so you don't have to worry about taking all the associated processes down, but you can use any method you like.
