Oradim utility not working on win2k

Hi All

I have used on my win2000 machine oradim utility to create a new database but it's not working

I have used the command
oradim -new -sid ndb -intpwd intenal -startmode auto

when I enter the afyet typing the above command the dos prompt remains in hang mode... it does not go ahead and not even the error message is generated.

What happens after you type this:

oradim -new -sid NDB -intpwd internal -maxusers 5 -startmode auto -pfile D:\...\initNDB.ora

oradim -srvc oracleservice<> -intpwd intenal -startmode auto
