    Question

    we're trying to install the repository but we encountered a problem in stage CKGLBWRK where i think d stage of creating global shared workarea, an seems to be in the package JR_WORKAREA but it has an error once we re-compile it.hope u guys can help us....tnx

    I just finished an install at a client site with Repository release 3 and Designer 6i Release 3 on Windows 2k with no problems.

    Two days ago, I ran into some problems with packages while installing the repository on my Windows98 laptop.

    The differences might be in the OS or in the privileges. I gave the Repository owner everything in terms of privileges on the successful install.

    Did you check that all of the privilige requirements are blue checks rather than red x's?

    on our client side, we use windows 95 as os....yes grant all the privileges needed...

    Did you explicitly grant privileges on DBMS_PIPE and DBMS_LOCK?
