I am hoping somebody out there has a suggestion, since Oracle cant provide any.

I recently installed the 8.0.5.2.6 patch to a 8.0.5.0.0 database and now cannot connect Internal as SYSDBA. Everytime I try I get the ORA-00022 Invalid Session ID error. This is preventing me from logging in to any of the EM tools such as Instance Manager, Schema Manager, etc with SYSDBA priveledges. Oracle says they dont supprt 8.0.5.x.x. anymore and hasnt provided asolution. Has anybody else experienced this or have a workaround? Thanks!

How are you trying to connect. SQLPLUS /OEM. If OEM then there is a bug that would not allow you to login using the sysdba. The solution to this is to install the OEM from 8.0.6
