Thread: OEM installation problem

    hi Gurus,

    When i tried to install OEM in my system, if i click install products
    it is doing nothing. Actually when i was installing oracle8i enterprise
    edition in my pentium4 system. I have faced this kind of problem. After
    getting the solution from the forum i have downloaded symcjit.dll from
    the net and paste into my system. Then it was installing fine. Now i am
    facing the same problem when i am trying to install OEM. Has anybody met
    this problem before, give me the solution. Thanks in advance.

    Yeah, I've come across this.
    Apparently there's a client OS problem involved here.
    Windows ME refuses to acknowledge some crucial Java components, and NT does the same under certain circumstances.
    What system are you installing on?

    It always used to be the case that you knew you had a problem with an Oracle installation if you did not get an error!!
