Thread: Net8 and SQL*Net issues

    Suppose that both Net8 and SQL*Net clients are configured on a desktop machine.

    Also, if both Net8 and SQL*Net has similar service names configured inside, which one will the other Oracle applications use when trying to connect to the database?

    Which file has these entries in?

    Is this file residing on the client machine?
