    Hi all,
I'm on Solaris 8 and Oracle 8.1.7 platform and the OEM 2.2.0.0.0 on different node on Solaris also.
Note there's a firewall between the nodes.

After correctly started the agent by lsnrctl dbsnmp_start command and right discovered my target node, I've tried to submit job on it.
The job remain in submitted status but it doesnt start.
Right after, checking the dbsnmp status, on the target node, I note the agent is died!!
Somebody Know what's cause of this failure ?
    P.S.
I already recently done a clean starting agent on the target node, maybe do I need a tnsnav.ora file?

    Thanks.

Check $ORACLE_HOME/network/log/dbsnmp* log for any error messages

    Hi Sam,

I've just checked the dbsnmp*log files, discovering the agent seems to be running, because it is polling every about one minutes into the log. But the job schedule continues to be in "SUBMITTED" status from OEM console.
If I put an "lsnrctl dbsnmp_status" command on the target node I received "The agent is not running" , and there are 2 dbsnmp processes at unix system level !!!

What do you think about ?

    Stand by .....

    Thank you.
