    Hi there,
I just installed Personal Oracle 8.1.5 for Win98 on my laptop. When I tried to startup the DB(i installed the default DB), it
pop up a window asking for password. I tried all Oracle default
one, like sys/change_on_install, system/manager, internal/oracle, no success. I also tried to start it at svrmgrl,
same thing. I could not connect internal. I checked metalink,
my personal oracle home is not under c:\program files\
(they say it may cause this problem if It put there), my oracle
home is personal815 under c:\personal815. On my laptop
I have other oracle homes for 7.3 , 8.05, and 8.1.5, all works
    fine.

    Any ideas?

    thanks

    James
