Thread: Export dilemma

I performed an export of four schemas. One of the tables showed no data was exported even though there were 105 rows. All the other tables were exported with their data. I have performed full database exports of this database before and all the rows were exported. There was no error message in this case, just no rows. Could there be some privilege missing? Maybe I need to export the table as the owner of the table rather than sysdba?
I'm using Oracle 8.1.6 on Windows NT.

    Thanks for any help.

    Export Problem

    Hi !

The onle explanation to this abnormal behaviour could be that the export mechanism couldn't read the data maybe because of some corrupt data or because of some problem with the datafile blocks or the extent header etc. did it return any errors ?

You could try exporting that particular Table separtely and see if it returns any particular error.

Can you view & edit the data of that particular table from say SQL*Plus ?
