Hi,
I am trying to tune my PL/SQL code using DBMS_PROFILER. But when I use DBMS_PROFILER.FLUSH_DATA nothing is written to the tables. I have created plsql_profiler_runs, plsql_profiler_data and plsql_profiler_units tables in my schema prior to executing DBMS_PROFILER.START_PROFILER. Is there any thing I am missing ? Does it require the user to have some privileges to execute DBMS_PROFILER. FYI, I didn't create the profiler tables using rdbms\admin\PROFTAB.SQL. Instead I created myself but the table structure is same as in PROFTAB.SQL. Please let me know what I am missing ? why no records are created in the tables when i flush_data or stop_profiler... Your help in this regard is much appreciated. Nice day folks !

Okay guys, it is the sequence (plsql_profiler_runnumber) that was missing. I created it and it works fine.
Thanks anyway,
