Passed the Last Exam (B&R) on tuesday

Wanted to share with everyone that i have passed my last exam B&R (53/60) on tuesday. And this site helped me in achieving my goal and kept me motivated. Moreover the thread on B&R is really helpful.

The preparation really helped me understand lots and lots of stuff, but I still have confusion in points below.

At one place ILT mentions that the Synchronization is having same checkpoint number in datafiles, relog logs and control file, other place mentions log sequence number and checkpoint number together, how it works ?.


What's actual the internal process of "USING BACKUP CONTROL FILE " statement in recover command ?.


Can anyone explain above ?.
