I got this from Patrol. I have no idea what it could mean. Nothing in the alert or any other related log file.
    Does anyone know?

Does Patrol store information in a database
It might be an error from a different database to the one which is getting monitored (where patrol is storing info)

    Performance... Push the envelope!

    Thanks for replying!

No such package (KM) under Patrol. All Patrol has it:

    P$BUFFCACHE
    P$CURSOR
    P$QUERY
    P$REPORT
    P$RPT
    P$RPTLIB

    Yes, it does.
What do you mean by "an error from a different database"?
There is differenet PATROL user for each DB.

    Different database = repository database

Relooking at the output from Patrol

The event cannot extend has been triggered on the database ADS01.
Have u checked that database for any segments which will fail to extend either due to space or reached max_extents??

It sounds as though Patrol is monitoring for those type of segments and has found one (or more).

    Hope this helps

    Thanks for answering.

Yes, I have checked. There is enough free space in my raw partitions and enough high value for MAXEXTENTS in every tablespace.

The funny thing is that the same message came also 1 month ago. It's not nice to be called on the mobile at midnight.....

All I found out is the CannotExtend is a new parameter for Patrol. Could it be that the Patrol team has not set it?

    This is a guess.

Is it possible that the Patrol user has a quota on its default tablespace?
