Where can I find a decent documentation on Oracle Physical Database Layouts for the best performance ? I mean answers for questions like: --
Where should the datafiles be ? Where should the index datafiles be ? Where should the redologs be ? Should it be multiplexed ? Control Files ? Multiplex control files ?
    Thanks

"Oracle 8i DBA Handbook" by Oracle Press has a 60-page chapter on physical layouts. Try that one.
