Thread: STATSPACK tuning on a remote database - possible?

    I have created all the necessary statspack objects in a local database but would like to run it against a remote database located on the network. Can this be done? I cant immediately see how.

    Does anyone have experience running statspack? thanks

    did you read the readme?? It explains how to gather statistcis automatically every interval

    aps sorry missread the question, AFIAK statspack can only capture statistics in local instance in signle node database but in OPS you can monitor all of instances

    Try calling these guys, there stuff is perfect for monitoring in a netwrok environment and cheap too. I mean me
