    Dear all,

is it possible to take backup of database from D2K forms?
if yes, then how? in my current project, user is asking me to make a form from which they can take backup at regular intervals.
    what should i do?

    thanks and regards,
    Amit

It is possible to design a form that acts as a control for a backup, but exactly how depends on the type of backup (VERITAS, ARCSERVE, export) and platform.

Forms would not be the best source for regular backups. In Unix, look at CRON. In NT, look at AT and the schedular. Many commercial packages (VERITAS, ARCSERVE) have their own control screens.
