Thread: SID > How do you find out which one is running

    I have several SID's. Two of the 3 are needed. I was just wondering if I could find out which one is currently running?

    I am a newbie. I mucked up the firstinstall, and used another SID for the next install. I forgot what I put in for the seconds SID. Anyone know any way of getting to know?

    Since you didn't specify your OS, I'll assume you are running the universally accepted Unix:

    ps -ef | grep smon
