    Hi !

    Whenever I raise a requisition (say for ex: loan request) I should immediately notify my superior by sending mail telling that request is raised.

    How will send mail in Oracle.Through Forms I raise request and when i commit in to the table I should send mail.Can anyone please help me out.

    Hi,

    You need to have Oracle 8.1.7 or above in order to use the procedure UTL_SMTP which is the procedure used for sending emails from Oracle
