    Hello,

I found that the system has allocated 29% of SGA to SQL Area, which is in shared pool. Like wise the system also allocated 12% of SGA to Library Cache.

Is there any way that I can increase the % amount of allocation to a particular buffer like SQL Area from 29% (Current value) to 40% with out increasing the shared_pool_size parameter?

    Thanks
    Best regards,
    Nikee

It is oracle dependent, so NO.

    (Shared Pool SQL Area Buffer)

    Hello Sam,

If it is Oracle dependent, does Oracle allocate the percentage dynamically or it’s a constant value?

    Thanks

Its a dynamic area and during the high load period you could notice things to hike up. As far as the calculation goes, I'm illitrate on it...

Here is a link that would help you to tune the shared pool.
