    Hi,

v$rowcache shows information from the Data Dictonary Cache and v$librarycache shows information from the Library Cache.

Both of these caches are in the shared pool.

    Library :

Contains the shared SQL area (Parse tree, explanation plan), pivate sql areas(bind variables), PL/SQL procedures and packages (for processing),and control tructures such as locks and library cache handles.

    Data Dictionary :

Holds the most recently used data dictionary information.
also known as rowcache as holds data as rows instead of buffers.
Once you have eliminated all of the impossible,
    whatever remains however improbable,
    must be true.
