Import error

Hi,

the folowing error :



import done in WE8ISO8859P1 character set and WE8ISO8859P1 NCHAR character set
IMP-00003: ORACLE error 2248 encountered
ORA-02248: invalid option for ALTER SESSION
IMP-00000: Import terminated unsuccessfully

Occurs usually when i do an import from an oracle 816 database to an oracle 805 database using an oracle816 client.

Does anyone knows the cause and solution?

you are saying that you export from 816 db using exp of version 816, and you try to import in a 805 using imp version 816 ???

Why not use the imp for version 805?

It´s like this:

-The user was exported on oracle816 and i have no way to do it on 805;

-The database where i want to put this user it´s on oracle805;

- Because i can´t import on oracle 805 i had a client in 816 where i usually do the imports like this one, and normally it work good.

This time i had this error, and i dont know how to avoid it ;
