Thread: ORA-00600

    In the userdump trace file it is showing the following error

    *** SESSION ID:(12.2105) 2000.10.31.17.41.38.542
    *** 2000.10.31.17.41.38.542
    ksedmp: internal or fatal error
    ORA-00600: internal error code, arguments: [psdgoe single ta], [1], [], [], [], [], [], []
    Current SQL statement for this session:
    select Id from castor_data where contains(doc,'temperature')>0
    How do we rectify this error?

    I think this is a bug.you should inform oracle and get patch from them to solve the problem.I think the problem is with ( KSEDMP) service Layer.Not sure!!.

    Anyway you consult with oracle customer service people to resolve the problem

    This error is a known bug for 8.1.6. As soon as you upgrade to 8.1.7. or above, it should eb solved.
