Thread: ora-12545 error

    Hi,

    when i try to connect to 8.1.7 on linux from client
    i get the error

    ora-12545 connect error, can't get error text.

    i need to stop and start listener.

    i also found 3 services are running on server

    Give the IP address of the server instead of hostname in the
    LISTENER.ORA

    Do you use MTS?
