Thread: Number of users logged on

    Question

    Is there a way to know how many Apps users are logged on at a specific time?

    I suppose we can do "ps -ef | grep LOCAL=NO". Would that give accurate information? How do I get a total of those?

    Is there any way to query database tables to get this info?

    Something like Top Sessions in OEM?

    Spotlight on Oracle from Quest has # of users on its screen.

    We are on Apps 11.0.3.

    Anything else? Thanks.

    log in as sysadmin responsibility,
    go to security, monitor. this shows who is logged in to apps
