We've had the virus here - think it only attacks NT running ISS. We had no UNIX or ORacle damage

Exclamation Oracle Devloper Executable got attacked...

At my end...I have the form listener running in a Windows NT box configured with IIS 4.0...

Today morning when my Network Admin guys released the search and clean patch for the NIMDA virus...I was taken back that on seeinf the list displaying me most of the Oracle Developer \BIN folder executables....

But managed to clean it in time...

So there is no hard rules that any s/w can b spared from this attack...

So i suggest u to take atmost care in performing a Virus Scan with the latest patch release of whatever Anit-Virus Kit u r provided with...

    Kevin

msg from our network guts. Thought I'd share it

Do not use the following internet sites:

    Altavista Search Engine
    streetmap .co.uk

Both are infected by the NIMDA-A virus.
