    What is the specification if i want to buy new computer and i want to use it for training purpose of oracle 8i database adminstration togother with working as normal desktop
    (hardware-operating system) required.

    I assume you are running a training institute.

    Sun Sparc Server 420 with 2 CPU, 1 GB RAM, 2 disk controllers and 4 hard disks of size 18GB is a good choice.

    On the other hand, you can go for Windows NT Server box with 1 GB RAM, 2 disk controllers, 4 hard disks of 18 GB.
