    Hi Friends,

I have scheduled a job on WINNT 4.0 Server to take a HOTBACKUP of ORACLE .I have found that scheduled job is not running. But i tried without jobscheduling then i could able to take a backup from SQLPLUS with the same batch file.
If i see NT Services which are currently running on my box then i found that TASK SCHEDULING is running fine.
    Can anyone help me?

if you're taking a hot backup of the DB why don't u take set up a script using the DBMS_JOB package instead of the scheduler ?

    Hi Hrishy,

Thanks for responding me.I think you are talking about OS level backup but i need to take backup
of database based on script. So using that script i can take backup but jobscheduling is still not working .I don't know really what is happening.
