Before we go any further let me breifly explain..
I'm a MSc Computing student from sunny England..and have aspirations to eventually qualify as a DBA..

At the moment I'm doing my project and desperately need some feedback from all you experienced DBA's out there.

Would you please answer the following question.

QUESTION:
Is there a particular aspect of your job that would benefit from the development of a new tool or enhancement of an existing tool?

If so, could you please describe what functions you would like the tool to perform and how it would benefit you.

Yes, SQL*LOADER with GUI.

As a matter of fact you might want to look into Oracle database tuning tool. The tuning concept is hard at first, would give the product a great benefit, if it were flexible to the dba and point out the possiblities for a dba on his bottle neck points and etc.
