    if two database are there in oracle 8.1.6
    i want to start one database which is created by me. not a default database.

    how to start database automaicaly.

    Edit your registry where you would want to remove the default oracle SID

    There was a similar thread, please search for "Database automatically startup ???".

    Here you will find out how to auto start the DB in NT through services. In brief, you should find services for the 2 databases, make the one you want to start automatically "automatic"; and the other "manual".
