what is the default format it shows up can we changet he format, coz i have set this to note the execution time for my query after execution it shows as
    Elapsed 00:01:92.81
i would like to know what exactly this time means ..is it 1 minute and 92 seconds if so why is it not showing as 2 minutes and 30 seconds,

you have to set time on not timing on for your requirment ,,

you will get time sql > prompt ...

You can note down starting time and ending time for the queries so that you will get how much time taken to execute the query ..
