Thread: connection timeout

    Hi,
    I am trying to connect to one of the USA servers having oracle 8i(8.1.6) running on win2000 advance server.I have configured the listener file.The version of oracle used in the indian server is 8i i. 8.1.6 on winnt server.When ever i try to connect to USA server i get the message connection time out.Could any one help me on this issue

    Perhaps it is not an Oracle problem.

    Are you able to connect to the server in the US from India?
