    Dear Moderators/Members

I will am going to work for a company that has Oracle DBs running on same number of TRU64 and Sun Solaris unix boxes. I do want to take a unix sys admin class, gurus (MARIST, PANDO, SREDDY et al), do you thinks I should take the TRU64 or the Sun Solaris sys admin class? Are they fairly transparent in moving from one platform to another? I need all the help I can get

    Thanks in advance

Depends on what your duties are. If you are going to be the DBA on those platforms, either one would do. Both are similar enough that you would get the concepts down. If you are planning on being sysadmin, I would take both. At that level, they have enough differences that you should probably know both.
