    Question

    Hi all,
I thought it best to post this question to this forum, even though it's really a unix problem we have.
We're installing Oracle Financials 11i on Oracle 8.1.6. The manual sys you need 650MB of tmp space for the install - however we only have 250. Hence, my question is how can I add space to the tmp directory to
bump it up past 650MB? We tried using logical links, but when we reinstall, rapidwiz overwrites the
directory and we lose the link, and we end up back where we started - /tmp maxes out at 100% and the install hangs.

Any thoughts on this one much appreciated.
