Hi,

Can anyone point me to some good notes for upgrading from 8.1.6 to 8.1.7 on NT.

There's a bit in Sumit Sarin's 'Oracle DBA', but I'm not sure what he means exactly by 'Set the environment variables'.

I think it means the oracle home and the sid

export oracle_sid='.SID'
etcetc
