Thread: ORA-07445

    Has any one come across this error ?

    ORA-07445: exception encountered: core dump [08DFC6EB] [SIGSEGV] [page fault] [134512640] [46] []

    the outbound database link from 7.3.4 to 8.0.4 is
    causing core dump in 8.0.4 database
    & above error in alert log & trace file at 7.3.4 database.
    * the link was working fine for last 1 yr.

    Hi,

    This is an Oracle internal error.....

    The documentation say's is to contact Oracle support

    Sorry I can't be more helpfull.

    Thumbs down Oracle Documents States....

    ORA-07445 exception encountered: core dump [string] [string] [string] [string] [string] [string]

    Cause: An operating system exception occurred which should result in the creation of a core file. This is an internal error.

    Action: Contact Oracle Customer Support
