Hello
I have some questions about Report printing in ERP, I have 11.0.3 on Solaris.
i Anna
I am working on Small Business Administration project. Following are the
some clinet's queries/requirements.I would like to know if you have
implemented andy solutions or doyou have any workaround.
1. Printing the report in batch mode from any client printer (the printer
which is not connected to the Oracle Application server m/c). ( I mean
without opening the report into browser).
2. Report distribution, for example, if Jonh is a GL Super user ( He sits
in DC office) , he generated one report FF2 , Now he wants, Bob ( who is in
Denver Office) to see this report or print in Denver office. Bob might not
have access to the Oracle Applications or he may have it but not same
responsbilties as John.
Thanks

You have to configure the printers from the Solaris side so they can be seen from the database server. If you can:
lpr -Pdenver_printer .profile
then you can print an oracle apps report. You're Unix sysadmin should be able to help you with this.
