Thread: Inserts taking too long!

    Hi!

    One of my users informed me that his insert statement took
    at least 15 minutes to work .

    Could anyone please let me know as to what went wrong!

    I am afraid we will need more information.

    What's the SQL Statement?
    What are the structures involved?
    Were there any other users on the system?
    What were the disks doing?
